Coconut Rabdi recipe - How to make Coconut Rabdi

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 3 to 4 small bowels

For The Rabdi
2 ltrs full cream milk
2 1/2 cups grated coconut
3 tbsp sugar
2-3 cardamom (elaichi)

For The Garnish
4 to 5 finely chopped almonds (badam)
4 to 5 finely chopped pistachios
  1. Heat the milk in a broad thick bottom pan. After it comes to a boil, lower the flame and let it cook, while stirring continuously.
  2. Once the quantity of the milk reduces to 3/4, add the grated coconut and cardamom.
  3. Add the sugar and cook for about more 10 minutes, while stirring continuously. Take it off the flame.
  4. Once cooled, pour it in a bowl and refrigerate till chilled.
  5. Serve garnished with almonds and pistachios.
