A perfect cookie recipe, Coco crisps are crispy and taste divine as teatime snacks. The all purpose flour is mixed with cocoa powder, sugar, beaten eggs and corn syrup. The freshly baked coco crisps are easy to bake and sure to be loved by all.

2/3 cup plain flour (maida)
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 tsp baking powder
a pinch of salt
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1 egg white
1 1/2 tsp light corn syrup
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  1. In a small bowl stir together
  2. Flour cocoa baking powder and
  3. Salt.set aside.
  4. In another bowl using hand mixer at medium speed beat together sugar and butter until mixture resembles bread crumbs about a minute.
  5. Add egg white corn syrup and
  6. Vanilla and beat until smooth.
  7. Stir in flour mixture gradually.form into log 1 inch
  8. In diameter and6inches long.
  9. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill over night,or slice and
  10. Freeze.
  11. To bake spray nonstick baking
  12. Sheets with cooking spray.slice dough 1/4 inch cookies 2 inches
  13. Apart on baking sheets.bake at 375 degrees until cookies
  14. Are firm at edges still soft in center about10 to 12minutes.remove from oven.
  15. Let cookies remain on sheets 1 minute,then remove with spatula and cool on wire rack.
