For the Marzipans
100 grams almonds
1 egg white
150 grams sugar
6 tablespoons rose water
For the chocolate covering
100 gms semisweet chocolate
1 teaspoon unsalted butter

  1. Soak almonds in warm water for half and hour and then peel off the skins. grind the almonds along with the egg whites and rose water. put the ground almond paste in a thick bottom vessel and keep on low flame. allow the paste to cook slowly, stirring along so that it does not burn. when the mixture leaves the sides of the vessel, take it off the fi
  2. In the meantime, melt the butter in a double boiler and add the chocolate. stir till the chocolate is melted, take off from the fire. dip the shaped marzipan into the chocolate and allow to set.
