Chocolate Cinnamon Rolls recipe - How to make Chocolate Cinnamon Rolls

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 6 to 8 servings


For The Rolls
4 cups pizza dough

For The Filling
1/2cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon (dalchini) powder
1/2 cup grated chocolate

Other Ingredients
melted butter for brushing
1 tbsp brown sugar
  1. Flour the work surface lightly.
  2. Roll out the dough into a rectangle of 1 inch thickness.
  3. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon leaving about an inch on each side.
  4. Grate some chocolate all over the rolled out dough.
  5. From side closest to you, start rolling closely. Roll into a tight log.
  6. Cut the log into equal size pieces.
  7. Place them slightly apart on a well greased baking pan.
  8. Cover and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat oven to 170 c / 350 f.
  10. Brush each roll with melted butter and sprinkle the top of each roll with brown sugar.
  11. Bake in preheated oven 170 degree C for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  12. Serve warm.


  1. You can glaze these with chocolate ganache or sauce if necessary.
  2. Store in fridge. Always warm slightly before eating.
  3. You can use regular sugar instead of brown sugar although it may not taste the same.
