Chinese Vegetable in Hot Garlic Sauce

A delightful Spinach and rice blend in palak rice goes exceptionally well with a range of Indian spices. An easy and yet healthful chawal recipe, palak rice is one of our favorites.
- 1. Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan on a high flame. Add the ginger, garlic and green chillies and stir fry over a high flame for a few seconds.
- 2. Add the vegetables and ajinomoto and cook for a few minutes.
- 3. Add the tomato puree.
- 4. Mix the cornflour in 1/2 cup of water and add to the vegetables.
- 5. Add the salt and cook for a few minutes. If you like, add a pinch of sugar.
- 6. Serve hot.
