Chinese Sandwich recipe - How to make Chinese Sandwich

4 slices of bread
1 onion , finely chopped
1 tomato , finely chopped
1 capsicum , finely chopped
1/2 cup shredded cabbage
1/2 cup grated carrot
salt to taste
2 green chillies , chopped
1/2 tsp chopped ginger (adrak)
1 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp white vinegar
1 tsp oil
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp cheese spread
  1. Heat the oil in a broad pan, add the cabbage, onions, capsicum, carrots and tomato, mix well and saute for few minutes.
  2. Add the ginger, salt, green chillies, mix well and saute for few seconds.
  3. Remove from the flame, add the soya sauce and vinegar, mix well and keep aside.
  4. Take a slice of bread, apply1 tbsp of cheese spread on each slice.
  5. Spread a portion of the prepared stuffing and place the second slice, cheese side facing downwards.
  6. Apply butter in top and grill them in a sandwich griller till golden brown and crisp.
  7. Serve hot with ketchup.
