Vibrantly colored and fiery too, the chilli garlic chutney is enough to invite people’s attention to a dish. Whether served as an accompaniment or used as a spread, mix-in or topping, the chutney enhances the aroma and pungency of a dish making it appealing to spice lovers.
- Soak the chillies in ½ cup of warm water for at least 15 minutes till they soften. Drain and keep aside. Remove the seeds if you do not want a spicy chutney.
- Grind the chillies and garlic with ½ cup of water along with the lemon juice and salt.
- Store refrigerated in an airtight container.
