1 quart vanilla ice cream
2 16-oz. cans dark sweet cherries, drained liquid reserved
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. orange flavored liqueur
2 Tbsp. brandy
- Place drained cherries in a saucepan over low heat. mix the cornstarch in the cherry liquid and stir until dissolved. pour liquid in with cherries and heat until thickened. pour the orange liqueur in with the cherries and stir. just before serving, pour brandy over cherries and light with a match. allow blue flame to burn off and immediately spoon
