Ingredients
250 gms paneer (cottage cheese)
2-3 parboiled potato
oil to fry
tomato ketchup to serve

For The Stuffing
fresh basil leaves
6-8 chopped garlic (lehsun) clove (laung / lavang)
chopped walnuts (akhrot)
1-2 green chilli
lemon juice
1 tsp olive oil
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch)
salt to taste
1/4 cup grated processed cheese
1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese

To Be Mixed Together Into A Smooth Batter
plain flour (maida)
1/4 cup cornflour
1/2 tsp green chilli paste
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp hot oil
Method
For the stuffing

    For the stuffing
  1. Grind walnuts into a coarse powder and keep aside.
  2. In the same jar grind the basil leaves, garlic, green chillies, lemon juice, olive oil, pepper powder, salt to a fine paste.
  3. Add walnut powder and grind once more to mix well.
  4. Remove in a bowl, add both grated cheese and mix with a fork.

How to proceed

  1. Heat the oil in a kadhai.
  2. Beat the batter well with a spoon. Add soda bi card and on it pour hot oil and mix well.
  3. Cut paneer into 11/2inch by 11/2inch thick slices.
  4. Cut parboiled potatoes into thick round slices.
  5. Place the Stuffing (about 11/2 teaspoon) between 2 paneer slices to make a sandwich.
  6. Same way make sandwich of 2 potato slices and stuffing.
  7. Coat paneer sandwiches and potato sandwiches with the prepared batter and deep fry in hot oil till golden.
  8. Serve hot with tomato ketchup. Enjoy !
