Cheesy Chatpata Green Peas recipe - How to make Cheesy Chatpata Green Peas

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 serving

2 cups fresh green peas
2 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tsp dried mango powder (amchur) powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/8 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1/2 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1 tsp powdered sugar
1/2 tsp lemon juice
salt to taste
2 tsp oil
1 tsp butter (optional)

For Serving
grated cheese
chopped coriander (dhania)
papdi (chaat) puris or nacho chips (optional)
  1. Heat oil in a pan, add green peas and sauté.
  2. Cover with a lid and cook on a very low heat for 5-7 minutes, while stirring in between.
  3. Add tirmeric powder, chilli powder, chaat masala, amchur powder, peper powder, cumin seeds powder and salt.toss and mix well.
  4. Remove from the heat, add lemon juice, butter and mix well.
  5. Serve garnished with cheese and coriander.
  6. Serve with or without papadi puris/nacho chips.
