Add a savoury, crispy starter to any buffet meal with the cheesy cheese fingers. An amazing snack item, cheese fingers are appealing and tasteful. Enjoy the cheese fingers with sauce or chutney.
- Toast the bread slices on one side only.
- Allow to cool.
- On the untoasted side, apply the butter and spread with a little mustard . sprinkle thickly with the grated cheese and a little salt and pepper.
- Grill until the cheese had melted and browned. sprinkle a little chilli powder if desired.
- Cut into fingers or into squares and serve hot.
