We often think that it is ingredients like salt, chaat masala and black salt that give salads an extraordinary taste.

This Chawli and Sprouted Moong Salad proves that a salad can turn out simply fab even without these ingredients, which are unhealthy for those with blood pressure and heart problems.

A combination of chawli and sprouted moong is spruced up with an apt combination of spice powders like chilli powder, cumin seeds powder and dried mango powder, which together with a squeeze of lemon result in a tongue-tickling salad, which you will thoroughly enjoy.

Like all salads, serve this immediately after tossing before it gets watery.

A low-salt, low-sodium menu can also include other dishes like the Mili Jhuli Subzi and the Mooli Moong Dal .

A very good health recipe. Perfect for those with high BP, heart problems, high cholesterol and even for those wishing to lose weight... Veggies give fiber and make you full too. I will surely try it again.

This recipe is soo easy to make...i used to make this for my sister who was 5 months pregnant and use to get hungry every 2 hours...she used to take this to her office...it is nutritious as well easy...i would recommend pregnant ladies to consume it in the day time or else may cause flatulence!!
