Chatpata Channa recipe - How to make Chatpata Channa

Ingredients
250 gms soaked kala chana (brown chick peas)
150 gms finely chopped onions
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tbsp lemon juice
6 slit green chillies
1 1/2 tsp chaat masala
a pinch of garam masala
salt to taste
Method
  1. Pressure cook the channa with a little water for 2 whistles or till cooked.
  2. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
  3. Add the garam masala, chaat masala, lime juice and salt mix well.
  4. Add the onions and mix lightly.
  5. Garnish with coriander and slit green chillies.
  6. Serve cold.
