Chatkhara Paneer Fingers recipe - How to make Chatkhara Paneer Fingers

To Be Mixed Together For The Marinade
1/2 cup tomato ketchup
1 tbsp malt vinegar
2 tbsp oil
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp mustard (rai/ sarson) sauce
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp dried and crushed basil leaves
2 tsp crushed garlic (lehsun)
1 tsp ginger (adrak) grated
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
salt to taste
1 tsp black peppercorns (kalimirch)
1/2 tsp red chillies flakes

Other Ingredients
1 cup paneer (cottage cheese) strips
1 tomato thickly sliced
1/2 cup capsicum cut into thick quarters
1 medium onion cut into chunks
  1. Combine the paneer, vegetables and marinade in a bowl and keep aside for 20 minutes at room temperature.
  2. Heat the non-stick tava, add marinated panner and vegetables and roast till it turns golden brown in colour.
  3. Serve piping hot.
