A unique and tasty recipe made by frying flattened balls of cashew paste in oil and sering with a garnishing of sugar.

100 gms cashewnuts (kaju)
100 gms powdered sugar
200 gms ghee
200 gms oil

  1. Soak cashews for 1/2 hr in water.
  2. Strain the water and then grind to a thick paste.
  3. Heat a kadai, add ghee and oil.
  4. Make small balls of the cashew paste and flatten between the palms.
  5. Let it be a little thick.
  6. Fry it in the oil and ghee mixture on low flame.
  7. Remove and toss it in the powdered sugar kept in a plate.
  8. Garnish with saffron and serve.
