Ingredients

5 carrots, boiled
1 cup boiled toovar (arhar) dal
black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste
salt to taste
2 to 3 tbsp butter or ghee
mint leaves (phudina) for garnishing
1 tbsp fresh cream
Method

  1. Blend together boiled carrots and tur dal to a smooth consistency
  2. Heat ghee or butter in a pan and add the blended carrot-dal mixture to it
  3. Bring to a boil and add salt and pepper as per taste.
  4. Remove from fire and add fresh cream to the soup.
  5. Garnish with mint leaves and serve piping hot, with soup sticks.
