Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 2 servings

2 to 3 grated orange carrot
3 to 4 cups thick curds (dahi)

For The Tempering
4 to 5 whole dry kashmiri red chillies
1 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
a few curry leaves (kadi patta)
1/2 tsp oil
salt to taste
  1. Whisk the curds till it becomes smooth.
  2. Add the carrots and mix well.
  3. For the tempering, heat the oil in a small pan, add the mustard seeds and red chillies.
  4. When the seeds crackle, pour this tempering to the curds mixture and mix well.
  5. Add the salt and mix well.
  6. Serve chilled.
