French toast is a delectable way of cooking bread with a coating of egg and milk. In this aromatic version, we have flavoured the eggs and milk mixture with cardamom, so as to get a nice spicy tinge.
The resulting toast is super tasty and can be enjoyed with a cup of coffee for breakfast or in the evening. French toast, sometimes also called eggy bread, is a popular breakfast option as it is very filling. However, you must remember that it must be served immediately.
You can also try other toast options like the Moong Dal Toast and Oats Moong Toast .
- Combine the eggs, cardamom powder, milk and powdered sugar in a deep bowl and mix well using a whisk. Keep aside.
- Heat 1 tsp of oil on a non-stick tava (griddle). Dip 2 slices of bread at a time into the egg-cardamom mixture and cook till they turn golden brown in colour from both the sides.
- Repeat step 2 to make 8 more toasts in 4 more batches.
- Serve immediately.
