Caramel Halwa recipe - How to make Caramel Halwa

1 cup semolina (rava)
1 cup sugar
1 cup desi ghee
2 cups milk
1/2 cup chopped mixed nuts
1/4 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
  1. Soak the semolina in 2 cups of milk and keep aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat the ghee in a kadhai and add the sugar and mix well and cook on a slow flame, till the sugar is caramelized and melts, while stirring continuously.
  3. When the sugar turns brown, add the soaked semolina, mix well and cook for 5 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  4. Add the dry fruits and cardamom powder.
  5. Serve hot!
