  1. Soak the brown rice in enough water for 30 minutes and drain well.
  2. Combine the brown rice along with 1 cup of water in a pressure cooker and pressure cook for 7 whistles.
  3. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
  4. Separate each grain of rice lightly with a fork. Use as required.
