I tried this salad by experimenting and it turned out to be pretty tasty and hence i thought of sharing it.

Brocoli- Corn Salad recipe - How to make Brocoli- Corn Salad

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 3 to 4 servings

1 cup broccoli flowerets
1/2 cup sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
1 small onion , sliced lengthwise

For The Dressing
1 cup hung curds (chakka dahi)
1 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper powder
1 slit green chilli , finely chopped
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp milk
salt to taste
a pinch of asafoetida (hing)

Other Ingredients
2-3 cherry tomatoes for garnishing
  1. Wash and chop brocoli into florets and boil them in water in a for 3 to 5 minutes. Drain the excess water and keep the brocolli aside.
  2. Boil sweet corn kernels in little water for 2 minutes in . Drain the water and keep the corn aside.

To make the dressing

    To make the dressing
  1. In a bowl, combine the hung curds, chaat masala, pepper, asafoetida, green chilli, salt, tomato ketchup and milk and mix well.

How to proceed

  1. Add the brocoli flowerets, sweet corn kernels and sliced onions to the labneh dressing and mix well.
  2. Garnish it with slices of cherry tomatoes.
  3. Serve chilled.
