Preparation Time:    Baking Time:  10 mins.   Baking Temperature:  230°C (450°F).   Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 10 tartlets

10 fresh bread slices
soft butter for greasing and brushing
    Main procedure
  1. Remove the crust from the slices.
  2. Roll each slice with a rolling pin.
  3. Press the rolled slices into the cavities of a muffin tray which is lightly greased with butter.
  4. Brush with melted butter and bake in a hot oven at 230°c (450°f) for 8 to 10 minutes or until crisp and serve with a choice of your favourite fillings.
