  1. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bhindi till golden brown in colour, remove on absorbent paper and keep aside.
  2. Combine the roasted chana dal, coconut, green chillies, mustard seeds, coriander cumin seeds powder and turmeric powder in a blender and blend to a fine paste by adding 3 tbsp water.
  3. Combine the prepared paste, dahi, water, salt and fried bhindi in a pan and mix well and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from the flame and keep aside.
  4. In another small pan, heat the oil add the mustard seed.
  5. When the seeds crackle pour this tempering on the prepared dahi .
  6. Mix well and serve at room temperature.
