Bhel Puri Sandwhich recipe - How to make Bhel Puri Sandwhich

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 2 to 4 pieces

For The Bhel Stuffing
300 gms puffed rice (kurmura)
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 boiled and chopped potato
4 tbsp tamarind (imli) ki chutney
2 tbsp green chutney
1 tbsp garlic (lehsun) chutney
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp lemon juice
3 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
4 tbsp nylon sev
salt to taste

For The Sandwhich
1 tbsp butter
4 bread slices
For The Bhel Stuffing

    For The Bhel Stuffing
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Keep aside.

For the sandwiches

  1. Spread butter over each slice of bread.
  2. On one buttered side of each sandwich, spread a little of the bhel mixture.
  3. Put another slice over it and repeat the same procedure for the next sandwich.
  4. In a griller add little butter and let the sandwiches grill for 5 minutes.
  5. You can also place the sandwiches unto a non-stick pan and cook until both sides are golden brown.
  6. Cut into 2 pieces each.
  7. Serve warm with ketchup.
