Ingredients

1 tbsp ghee
1 cup besan (Bengal gram flour)
3/4 cup sugar
5 cups water
6 to 8 almonds (badam), crushed or thin slivers
Method

  1. Heat ghee in a karahi and put besan in it.
  2. Keep stirring till besan attains slightly darker colour and also gives a nice fragrance.
  3. Also, boil water with sugar in another utensil till sugar is dissolved.
  4. Add water to karahi, slowly, stirring continuously.
  5. Bring to boil, stirring coninuously.
  6. Add some almonds and use the rest for garnishing.
