Besan ka pura or as popularly known as besan chilla or tomato omelet is an easy protein rich pancake recipe made from a besan based batter. The delicious besan ka pura can be relished with green chutney or used as a sandwich filling.
- In a bowl mix besan(gram flour),salt green chilli, coriander,onion,with little water (spreading consistency)
- Heat tawa put little batter &on it &spread it &cook as you cook dosas.
- When brown from both sides it is done.
- Serve with coriander chutney.
- In the doodhi season grate a handful of dhudhi(lauki) add &make as mentioned above.
- To make it more nutritive add finely grated cauliflowr,carrots to it proceed as above.
- After making the chila stuff it with cottage cheese &green peas.
