Besan ladoo is a traditional Indian sweet dish or laddu recipe of roasted and crushed Bengal gram flour or besan mixed with ghee and sugar. Besan laddu is a tasty and healthy laddoo( sweet ball) recipe which simply melts in your mouth.
- Melt ghee in a kadahi and add besan.
- Fry on low heat till besan is well done (light pink).
- Add cardamom powder, coarsely ground cashewnuts and almonds.
- Let it cool for a while. when itis cold(do not add sugar when besan is still warm as this will melt the sugar and the laddos will not form.),add the powdered sugar and mix well and shape into ladoos and store in an airtight container.
