A lovely and tangy chutney made from beetroots as the main ingredient. Serve it with parathas or polis.

Makes 6 servings
- Remove the skin, wash and chop beetroots finely.
- Heat oil in kadai and fry the beetroots for 10 mnts on low fire and keep aside.
- Now fry the dals, chillies, dhania seeds and curry leaves with little oil till golden brown.
- Grind all the above in a mixie to smooth paste and add salt to taste.
