Basil Tea recipe - How to make Basil Tea

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 2 to 3 servings

1 cup water
1 1/2 cups fresh basil
1 tbsp chopped ginger (adrak)
sugar to taste
2 tbsp tea powder
2 1/2 cups milk

For The Garnish
fresh basil
  1. In a deep pan add the water, basil leaves, ginger, sugar and tea powder and bring to boil till the water gets a dark shade.
  2. Add the milk and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Serve hot and garnish with basil leaves
