Basboosa recipe - How to make Basboosa

Sugar pw-1cup
Desicated coconut-1cup
Baking pw-2tsp
Oil-1/4 cup
almonds (badam)
Sugar –11/2 cups

  1. Beat egg with an eggbeater. add sugar powder and whip again. then add cream and oil mix well. mix semolina, desiccated coconut, and baking powder in a bowl.
  2. Mix semolina mixture to the egg mixture. (mix with hand in one direction). pour this into a greased baking dish. keep for 2-hrs.peel badam; slice into half. place this on top. bake till done. when it is done in the bottom bake on top to get golden colour.
  3. For sugar syrup
  4. Make sugar syrup and add cardamom powder and 2 drops of lemon juice. pour this on top of hot basboosa.sugar syrup should b made previously and cooled. slice into square badam should in center of each squares.
