It is a jain recipe. . Delicious treat.
- Soak rice and dal in enough water for 30 minutes. Drain and keep aside.
- Heat the ghee in a pressure cooker, add the masalas and saute for 1 minute.
- Add the rice and chana dal and mix well.
- Add the salt, mix well and pressure cook for 2 whistles or till the dal is cooked.
- Serve hot.
