Banana puri( kelyachi bansa), a sweet puri ( deep fried wheat flour puffed breads) is a sweet delicacy popular in the southern states of Indian subcontinent. The bananas are mashed and cooked in ghee with sugar and elaichi powder. This banana(kela) mix is stuffed in the wheat dough balls, rolled and deep fried to a crispy sweet perfection.
- Take one bowl.
- Mash all bananas finely.
- Then add suji,sugar,elaichi powder,ghee(ghee you have to put after heating only, ghee sould be melted and hot).
- Then put wheat flour. and make a dough.
- With dough make small puri and fry it.
