Ingredients

banana pith (from the inside of the stem): one piece about 6 inches long.
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 green chillies
1/2 tsp salt
coriander (dhania) and mint leaves (phudina) for garnishing
Method


  1. Cut the banana pith into cirular slices, removing the intervening fibers .
  2. Soak these pieces immediately in water to avoid browning.
  3. Then cut the slices to fine pieces and add these pieces to a bowl containingg the lemon juice.
  4. Add finely chopped green chillies and salt.
  5. Mix thoroughly. garnish with chopped coriander and mint leaves.
  6. Chill for one hour in the fridge before serving.
