Banana fritters is an excellent way of adding fruits in your diet in a tasty, delicious fritter or pakoda recipe. The banana fritters are crispy, easy to prepare and goes well as an accompaniment with any dal (lentil) and white rice. You can even serve them just as an appetizer.

1 cup plain flour (maida)
2 bananas
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp baking powder
2 drops of vanilla essence
1 egg
milk as required

  1. Combine bananas , sugar, egg and milk in the blender.
  2. Pour the mixture into a glass bowl.
  3. Add maida , baking powder and vanilla essence and mix thoroughly.
  4. Heat a non-stick tava.
  5. Pour a little ghee on the tava.
  6. Put a spoonful of the mixture on the tava.
  7. Turn over the fritter and cook the other side.
  8. Repeat the procedure with the rest of the mixture.
  9. Makes 10 delicious fritters for your little ones
