Banana foaf is an easy to prepare delicious banana loaf recipe with mashed bananas added to flour, sugar, baking powder and nuts. The banana loaf is moist and soft and baked to a golden brown finish.

2 1/4 cups plain flour (maida)
1 1/2 to 2 cups sugar
2 cups mashed or 8 whole bananas
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup oil
walnuts (akhrot) or raisins (kismis) (optional)

  1. Mix oil, mash bananas well.
  2. Mix baking soda,baking powder, flour and suger seprately.
  3. Mix dry ingredients in mash bananas and oil mixture by putting a small amout of dry ingredients to avoid lumps.
  4. Put nuts in the mixture.
  5. Greace muffine try with some oil if you are not using paper cups.and pur one ice cream scupe in one cup.
  6. Preheat the oven 375 degrees and bake the loafs for 35minutes. or untill golden brown.
  7. Do same with the remaing batter.
  8. Let them cool and put in a air tight container.
