Baked Veggie Toast recipe - How to make Baked Veggie Toast

Ingredients

4 to 5 potatoes, boiled
2 to 3 green chillies (crushed with ginger (adrak) and garlic (lehsun) ) (optional)
lemon juice
salt to taste and 1/4 teaspoon sugar
garam masala
chaat masala to taste
coriander (dhania)
1 tsp cornflour
Method

  1. Mix all the above into the mash potatoes (optionally you could also add boiled and mixed veggies...)
  2. Make small rounds...and keep aside
  3. Next step: take 6 - 8 pieces of bread and slice them into 2 (slice horizontally, making 2 triangular pieces)
  4. Take each ball and spread it over the bread triangle...see to it that the filling stays close to the bread and does not fall off...
  5. Repeat the same for all the breads and balls...
  6. Prepare oven dishes by placing aluminium foil and greasing them just a little bit...
  7. Heat in the oven till brownish and crispy...
  8. After baking:
  9. Spread green chutney (corriander and chillies), tomato ketchup, chopped onions and sev on the top of each triangle toast and serve warm...
