Baked Pasta recipe - How to make Baked Pasta

Ingredients

For White Pasta Sauce
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp plain flour (maida)
2 cups milk
1 cup water

Other Ingredients
3 cups pasta , any of your choice
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup broccoli florets
2 cups mushrooms (khumbh)
2 cups sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
4 capsicum , chopped (red , green , yellow)
3 cups grated mozzrella cheese
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp basil
1 tbsp dried red chillies flakes
salt to taste
Method
For the white sauce

    For the white sauce
  1. Heat a pan, add the butter and flour and saute to make it a soft dough on slow flame.
  2. Add the milk and water to the dough to make it a smooth batter.
  3. Keep mixing it over slow flame to avoid formation of lumps.
  4. Remove it from heat and keep aside.

How to proceed

  1. Boil the pasta in water, adding a little 1/2 tsp olive oil and salt to avoid sticking of pasta.
  2. Once the pasta is cooked remove from the flame, drain under running and keep aside to cool.
  3. Heat the remaining olive oil in a pan, add the capsicum, corn, brocolli and mushrooms and saute on a slow flame for 2 to 4 minutes.
  4. Add the oregano, basil, chilli flakes and salt and saute for a second.
  5. Add the white sauce and mix well.
  6. Transfer into a microwave baking dish and sprinkle the grated mozzarella all over the pasta.
  7. Bake it in the microwave till the cheese becomes golden brown in colour.
  8. Serve hot.
