  1. Put 2 ½ cups water to boil.
  2. Add cumin seed powder, red chili powder, soda-bi-carb and salt and
  3. let it come to a boil
  4. Add the bajra flour and stir with a wooden spoon so that no small dry balls
  5. of the flour are left.
  6. Cover it and cook for 10 minutes.
  7. Remove from fire when slightly cool knead well to form a dough
  8. Make six balls.
  9. Roll out like chapattis between two plastic sheets
  10. Dry them in the direct hot sun for three to four hours
  11. Collect them when dry and store in an air tight container.
  12. Serve them roasted as accompaniment to khichdi.
