Bajra Cutlets recipe - How to make Bajra Cutlets

3 cups bajra (black millet) flour
1/2 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
2 potatoes , boiled and mashed
50 gms mashed paneer (cottage cheese)
2 tbsp green peas , boiled and mashed
1 tbsp corn (makai ke dane) flour to bind dough
salt to taste
1 tsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1 onion , finely chopped
2 cloves (laung / lavang) of , finely chopped
1 slit green chilli , finely chopped
2 tbsp finely chopped fenugreek (methi) leaves (methi)
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp dried mango powder (amchur) (amchur)
water to make dough
oil for deep frying
  1. Combine all the above ingredients except oil and corn flour and knead and make the dough.
  2. Make small oval size shaped flatten rolls,now roll this in the corn flour and keep aside.
  3. Heat the oil and dust the corn flour before putting in the oil and deep fry in low flame till golden brown.
  4. Serve hot with mint,coriander chutney.
