Badam kheer is a creative kheer(sweetened milk) recipe with almond paste or badam added to the milk during boiling. The roasted badam or almonds paste are cooked with sugar, elaichi powder in the milk to prepare an awesome almond or badam kheer. An unique sweet dish recipe to entice one and all.
- Blanch almonds and remove skin.
- Soak the almonds and cashewnuts in 2 cups of hot milk for 30 minutes and blend in a mixer till smooth.
- Put the remaining milk to boil, add the condensed milk and prepared almond paste, mix well and cook for another 5 minutes, while stirring continuously.
- Remove from flame and add almond essence and mix well.
- Serve hot or chilled.
