Ingredients

5 to 6 baby corn cobs
bread crumbs
oil for deep-frying

For batter:
1/2 cup plain flour (maida)
1/4 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1/4 cup cornflour
salt to taste
1 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
masala paste-coarsely ground paste of 3-4 green chillies, 3 garlic (lehsun) pods, 1 bunch fresh coriander (dhania)
Method

  1. Parboil the corn cobs in salted water.
  2. Drain and keep aside.
  3. Make a smooth paste of all the flours .
  4. Add salt,cumin powder and masala paste and mix well.
  5. Dip the corn cobs in the batter gently and roll them out on the bread crumbs and deep fry till they become golden crisp.
  6. Serve hot.
