Apricot-glazed pineapple sundae presents an amazing array of fresh pineapple slices tossed with apricots, low fat yoghurt, sugar and a dash of spices such as cinnamon. A lovely dessert recipe to be relished with caramel sauce as topping.

4 1" thick pineapple slices
2 tbsp apricot preserves
sugar syrup
a pinch of cinnamon (dalchini) powder
1 cup vanilla low-fat frozen yogurt

  1. Preheat broiler.
  2. Place pineapple slices on a broiler pan.
  3. Brush pineapple with preserves;
  4. Broil 6 minutes or until bubbly.
  5. Combine sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle over pineapple.
  6. Serve warm with the frozen yogurt
