1/4 cup peeled and chopped apple
2 tbsp peeled and chopped carrot
1/4 cup peeled and chopped potatoes
1 tsp oil
1 tbsp finely chopped onions
Method

  1. Heat the oil in a pressure cooker, add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for 30 seconds.
  2. Add the carrot, potatoes, apple and 1 cup of water, mix well and pressure cook for 3 whistles.
  3. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
  4. Cool slightly and blend in a mixer to a smooth purée.
  5. Pour the purée into a broad non-stick pan and bring to boil, while stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve the apple and carrot soup with potatoes for babies and toddlers lukewarm.

As my toddler is a fussy eater ....I have to keep trying new recipes every 4-5 days....This one she accepted happily and accepts it even when served every alternate day.

A perfectly texture soup for babies. Just combine all the ingredients, pressure cook and strain...it's so simple. Onions can be avoided if you wish.
