Anjeeri khumb recipe - How to make Anjeeri khumb
Cooking Time: Total Time:
Mushroom -8,Oil -2 tbsps
For stuffing-Onion- finely chopped, 1 tbsp,
Ginger and green chillies - finely chopped 1 tsp,
4tbsps fresh Figs- (an jeer) finely chopped,
Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp
White pepper powder-to taste
Salt and Lemon juice to taste
2 tsp.Saffron dissolved in water few strands
Coriander leaves- finely chopped 1 tsp
few Cherries, 2tbsps chopped figs
- To prepare filling-, heat1tsp oil in a pan and fry chopped onion,green chillies and ginger. and then add chopped figs, and garam masala. now add white pepper, salt and lemon juice. add saffron dissolved in water and chopped coriander leaves. mix all the ingredients. filling is ready.
- To assemble-
- Cut the stems of the mushrooms. sauté with remaining oil and cook them covered on lowe heat till soft. cut the base (caps) of the mushrooms and keep them aside for later use. fill the stuffing in mushrooms cavities and cover with caps . make the mushrooms secure with tooth picks. sprinkle a little salt and pepper .sauté for 5 minutes again. garn
