You can grate the potatoes if you find it difficult to mash them.
- Combine the potatoes and green peas in a bowl and mix well and mash.
- Add the coriander, chaat masala, chilli powder, lemon juice and salt and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into round patties.
- Heat the oil in a pan and shallow fry the tikkis till they are golden brown on both the sides.
- Serve hot with ketchup.
