Ingredients

To Be Mixed Together For The Coating
7 to 8 boiled and mashed potatoes
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
3 chopped green chillies
1/2 tsp garam masala
bread crumbs
salt to taste

To Be Mixed Together For Filling
1 cup cooked and mashed chana dal (split bengal gram)
1 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
1 tsp grated garlic (lehsun)
3 chopped green chillies
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania) leaves
salt to taste
oil for cooking
Method
    Method
  1. Take a tablespoonful of potato mixture and place a tsp of the dal mixture in it.
  2. Roll and press to make a round flat tikki.
  3. Heat a tava and cook the tikkis using little oil till golden brown from both the sides.
  4. Serve hot.
