Aloo Phudina Dip recipe - How to make Aloo Phudina Dip

200 gms peeled potatoes
2 garlic (lehsun) cloves , crushed
2 tbsp mint leaves (phudina) or paste
1 tsp lemon juice
salt and freshly ground black pepper powder powder to taste
1/4 cup hund curds (dahi)
  1. Cut potatoes into 5cm cubes. Place in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to the boil on a high flame. Cook until tender.
  2. Drain and transfer potato to a bowl. Add garlic and pudina leaves or paste. Using an electric mixer beat on medium speed for 5 minutes or until smooth.
  3. Meanwhile, use a fork to beat salt, black pepper lemon juice and cream in a bowl. Gradually add cream mixture to potato and beat until well combined.
  4. Transfer to an airtight container. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  5. Serve with savory biscuits, bread or any snacks.


  1. You can add ginger-green chilli paste to it .
