Aloo Paneer Tikkis recipe - How to make Aloo Paneer Tikkis

2 cups boiled and mashed potatoes
1/4 cup crumbled paneer (cottage cheese)
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 tsp chopped green chillies
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/4 cup chopped mint leaves (phudina)
oil for shallow frying
salt to taste
  1. Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions and sauté till they turn tender.
  2. Add all the other ingredients and sauté for a few more minutes.
  3. Remove from the flame, cool and divide the mixture into 8 equal portions.
  4. Shape them into round balls and keep aside.
  5. Heat a tava and cook the tikkis using little oil, till they turn golden brown and crisp from both the sides.
  6. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
