Aloo Antu Pulsu recipe - How to make Aloo Antu Pulsu

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add the potaotes and saute till they turn golden brown. Remove and keep aside.
  2. In the same pan, heat 2 to 3 tsp oil and add the onions and green chillies and saute till the onions turn golden brown in colour.
  3. Add the ginger-garlic paste and saute for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the fried potatoes and saute for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the salt, chilli powder, garam masala, a pinch of turmeric powder and saute for about 2 minutes.
  6. Add the tamarind pulp and add 70 ml of water, mix well and boil for 3 minutes.
  7. Add the sugar, mix well and cover and cook on a slow flame till the oil floats on the top.
  8. Serve hot garnished with coriander.
