Aloevera ki Subzi recipe - How to make Aloevera ki Subzi

Method
    Method
  1. Peel and cut the aloevera leaves into cubes.
  2. Boil them for 4 minutes with a pinch of salt in enough water, drain and keep aside.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan, add the fenugreek seeds, cardamom and cinnamon.
  4. When the seeds crackle, add the asafoetida, turmeric powder, coriander powder, amchur powder, chilli powder, jaggery and salt and mix well.
  5. Add water and put aloevera cubes to it, cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes on low flame
  6. Add the curd and stir for 1 minute.
  7. Serve hot garnished with coriander.

  1. There are many types of aloevera available in market. Prefer to choose having dark green colour as it tastes much sweeter that the other ones.
